Poster for the movie Der perfekte Urlaub

Bustling sequel where the star-studded group of friends stirs up plenty of drama on vacation in Mallorca through old wounds and new revelations

Germany, 2025, 117 min, ab 12
with Karoline Herfurth, Jella Haase, Elyas M'Barek

More than five million Germans travel to Mallorca every year. Leo, Pepe, Rocco, and Simon decide to take a break in Germany's unofficial "17th federal state" too. Time to lick wounds, regroup, and get some distance. Ever since the mobile phone party game went off the rails, nothing has been the same. Good plan—too bad the relaxed guys' trip goes out the window: Eva, Carlotta, and their best friend Maus have booked into the exact same villa on the island. The hard way, this dysfunctional circle of friends must figure out what is even left of friendship, trust, and love. When the finca goes up in flames and the crew gets stranded in an upbeat all-inclusive resort, old wounds and fresh revelations finally cause the facades to crumble. Soon, not just individual relationships but the entire friendship is on the line. Can Leo win back Carlotta's trust after his text affair? Eva is dealing not only with her teenage daughter Sophie, but also with her husband. Both suspect each other of keeping secrets, but Rocco's burner phone caught Eva completely off guard. Pepe, recently out, longs for more support from his straight buddies while still finding himself. And Simon remains the charmer who laughs off every consequence. But when his ex-girlfriend Bianca turns up, things get truly heated... VAMOS A LA DRAMA!

In DER PERFEKTE URLAUB, the filmmakers once again assemble a prominent cast before the camera: Elyas M'Barek, Karoline Herfurth, Jessica Schwarz, Florian David Fitz, Jella Haase, Frederick Lau, Wotan Wilke Möhring, and Emily Kusche return to the trusted ensemble, joined by Diana Amft as Carlotta's (Karoline Herfurth) best friend.
