KitKatClub
Kinks of Berlin
An unvarnished documentary about Berlin's iconic club, where people find the courage to live their authentic selves beyond taboos
“That it delivers intimate, immediate insights into the Berlin sex culture scene is something you certainly cannot deny Philipp Fussenegger's film.”

“The film develops its greatest strengths in its intimate look at the daily lives of its protagonists.”

In the theatrical documentary KitKatClub - Kinks of Berlin, we immerse ourselves in the mysterious world of one of the most iconic clubs worldwide—accompanying diverse individuals through their Berlin nights.
We follow Tim alias Raven Van Krueger as he seeks a breakthrough as a drag artist. Elisa explores a new sexuality alongside her friends, a BDSM couple loves openly, and a pup-play duo embraces stability and excess. David fights to overcome addiction, while club founder Simon seems unstuck in time—much like many who once laid the foundation of the legendary KitKatClub.
Performances, negotiations of consent, tender talks with fathers, encounters with mothers: the camera stays intimate without turning voyeuristic. It captures vulnerability and liberation—and shows how sexuality can become a language that connects.
“The audiovisual highlight of the film is the sequences from inside the KitKat itself. The rhythmic montage of partying guests engaging in sex and drug use turns the club into a pulsating modern-day Rome.”
