Großes Kino
With this series, we bring cinema classics that hold a special place in film history back to the big screen!
For more than 20 years, the association Das Lamm muss laufen! e.V. has championed film culture in Erlangen. Through previews of selected films, Q&As with filmmakers, festival partnerships, and support for student film productions, the association fosters appreciation for distinctive films and quality beyond blockbuster culture. With this eighth edition of the "Großes Kino" series, we look back to present a curated selection of films that each hold a special place in cinema history—because they broke established conventions or came to represent an entire movement.
Discover these cinematic milestones or experience them once again on the big screen. Before each screening, film scholar Andrea Kuhn will provide a brief introduction exploring the distinct qualities and cultural significance of the work.
The team at Lamm-Lichtspiele and the friends' association Das Lamm muss laufen! e.V. wish you wonderful screenings!
